Mathias RUCH is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CV VC (Crypto Valley Venture Capital), a Switzerland-based venture capital firm and ecosystem builder dedicated to supporting blockchain and Web3 startups from early stage to global scale.

An entrepreneur and investor with more than two decades of experience in the digital economy, Mathias founded and exited several successful online and media companies before focusing on blockchain technology. Since founding CV VC, he has played a central role in shaping Crypto Valley into one of the world’s leading blockchain hubs, combining venture investments with acceleration programs, coworking spaces and international ecosystem platforms through CV Labs.

Mathias is also Co-Founder and Chairman of the Expert Council of the Swiss Blockchain Federation, contributing to public-private dialogue and regulatory positioning to strengthen Switzerland’s leadership in blockchain innovation. Under his leadership, CV VC has backed dozens of startups and expanded its ecosystem activities across Europe, Africa and other emerging innovation markets.
